Every holiday tradition has a story. Why do we bring a whole tree into the living room? How did a glass pickle end up hidden in the branches? And why do millions of families in Japan celebrate Christmas with a bucket of KFC?

This season, Buchheit’s Christmas Unwrapped is unwrapping them all.

What Is Buchheit’s Christmas Unwrapped?

Buchheit’s Christmas Unwrapped is a nationwide storytelling series that uncovers the surprising history behind the traditions, foods, songs and symbols that make the season special. Each story is just one minute long, short enough for the drive to work but packed with history you’ll want to share at the dinner table.
